Throughout the month, we marked it across our different locations. Today it all came together at our Azuri Office in Lagos, with colleagues joining from offices and sites across the company.
Our Managing Director, Ngowari Diminas, gave the opening remarks and introduced our guest speaker, Dr. Chisa Echendu, MD, PhD. She gave an insightful talk on Women’s Health & Breast Cancer Awareness and took questions from our team.
Five-year survival is close to 100% for breast cancer diagnosed and treated at stage 0 or stage 1. Survival rates drop dramatically when diagnosis is delayed or when treatment begins at later stages.
